This is a couture deadstock fabric is the perfect LBD fabric, suitable for dresses, skirts, pants and lighter weight coats and tailoring projects.
It is made from a fine cotton fibre, woven with a satin weave in a rich black shade. As is often the case, photographing black fabrics can be challenging, especially with a satin weave. This fabric is a rich, deep, solid black.
It has a good structure and would hold pleats and skirt volume well.
