The Jupiter Leggings pattern is ideal for creating a base layer for chilly weather as well as loungewear, dancewear, and gym wear! There are multiple rise and waistband options, the choice to add colour blocking and feature sections, plus a clever phone pocket! And just in case that isn’t enough, there are FIVE lengths to choose from. Additionally, you can add a diamond shaped gusset.
The pattern includes options for those who are just getting started. You will be guided through each step by precise diagrams and thorough instructions. The feature section and pocket options are best suited for sewers who have some stretch sewing experience.
The Jupiter Leggings pattern is designed for 4 way stretch fabrics with a minimum of 70% stretch. The pattern goes from XXS – 7XL. Curve fit patterns are drafted for someone 165cm (5’5”) tall. There is a matching male/straight fit pattern available.
Sizes:
- Available sizes for XXS-7XL. Waist from 63cm (25") to 155cm (61”), and Hip from 74cm (29””) to 172cm (68”).
Skill Level: Beginner+
Recommended Fabric: Midweight knits with at least 70% horizontal and 50% vertical stretch, such as cotton lycra, double brushed poly, athletic/performance knits, or yoga jersey.
Pattern Format: This is a PDF pattern. Included in your download is an A4 file for at home printing, an A0 File for Copy Shop Printing, Projector files and detailed instruction files.
Notions:
- Elastic (for elasticated waistband only) : Maximum of 121(47 1/8") of 38mm (1 1/2") wide elastics.
- Optional : Maximum of 25cm (10") of 6mm (1/4") clear elastic to reinforce the pockets.
