A casual pinafore dress is the Penelope Pinafore. Choose between traditional buckles or tie straps (which don't need to be undone in order to put on or take off the garment). Five pockets are provided for storing all of your belongings. There are two lengths: midi, which covers the knee, and mini, which sits above it. Both lengths can additionally be given a back split. Additionally, you have the option to add a hip button opening.

Sizes:  

  • Available sizes for XXS - 5XL. Full Bust from 76cm (30") to 138cm (54"), Waist from 61cm (24") to 127cm (50"), and Hips from 84cm (35") to 145cm (57").

Skill Level: Beginner+

Recommended Fabric: : Medium weight woven fabric such as corduroy, denim or linen. Fabrics with a little stretch will create the most comfortable dress but non-stretch fabrics can be used. Softer fabrics will create a more flattering garment than stiff/structured ones.

Pattern Format: This is a PDF pattern. Included in your download is an A4 file for at home printing, an A0 File for Copy Shop Printing, Projector files and detailed instruction files.
