A simple but stylish raglan sweatshirt for children. There are 4 neckline options – regular crew (round) neck, single or double button neck, and split collar button neck. There is also the option for a through pocket.
The pattern works best when made from french terry or sweatshirt fleece, but any medium weight stretch fabric would be suitable.
An overlocker/serger will create the neatest finish but all options can be made using a regular sewing machine. The pattern has options suitable for beginners, as well as options that are a little more challenging..
Recommended Fabric: Medium weight knit fabric, eg. cotton/Lycra french terry, sweatshirt fleece etc. You need fabric with at least 20% stretch, and closer to 50% is best
