The Smultron dress is a fun, voluminous dress with a wide range of fabric compatibility.
View A presents a charming short, above-the-knee dress, with a half-circle, bias cut design. The dress features an elegant V-neck yoke, delicate spaghetti straps, and a comfortable elastic back to ensure a perfect fit every time.
View B, also showcases a short, above-the-knee silhouette, with the same half-circle, bias cut style. However, this version boasts a gracefully curved neckline, complemented by lovely spaghetti straps and adjustable back ties for a touch of versatility.
Feel free to experiment and mix things up by incorporating the back ties from View A onto View B, or opt for the elastic back on View B instead.
Additionally, the dress instructions provide you with simple yet comprehensive guidance on how to lengthen or shorten the dress to your preferred style. You can even add optional tiers for a playful and dynamic look.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Recommended Fabric: Almost any woven fabric. The designer recommends light to mid-weight linen, cotton, chambray, rayon challis and twill, taffeta, and seersucker. The bias cut looks especially nice in a gingham or check fabric.
Pattern Format: This is a PDF pattern. Included in your download is an A4 file for at home printing, an A0 File for Copy Shop Printing, Projector files and detailed instruction files.
