The Free Range Fun Over-Trousers are the perfect thing to protect your little ones when playing outside, whatever the weather!
The Free Range Fun Over Trousers pattern goes right from 6-12 months up to age 12. You can choose between trousers or dungarees/salopettes. They can be lined or unlined. Additionally, they can have straight legs, snap legs or elasticated legs (with optional stirrups.)
Depending on the options chosen the pattern is either beginner or intermediate level. The actual construction is extremely simple, however water resistant/warm fabrics can often be slippy and/or bulky, meaning a little skill is required. An overlocker can be used for many parts but a regular sewing machine can be used for all steps.
Many different fabrics can be used for this pattern but popular choices include softshell, PUL and ripstop.

- Available sizes for 6-12m - Age 12. Height from 75cm (29 ½”) to 152cm (60”), Waist from 48cm (19") to 65cm (25 ¾”), and Hip from 51cm (20”) to 78.5cm (31”)
Skill Level: Beginner+
Recommended Fabric: : Any light/medium weight, hardwearing fabric. If you would like your over-trousers to be water resistant then choose a water resistant fabric. Good choices include PUL, soft-shell and ripstop. No stretch is required but fabric with a little stretch can be used.
Pattern Format: This is a PDF pattern. Included in your download is an A4 file for at home printing, an A0 File for Copy Shop Printing, Projector files and detailed instruction files.
