It is a loose, woven dress pattern called the Kinjarling Dress. Three lengths, two necklines, and two neck finishes are available. The dress fastens with buttons or snaps and opens from the front or the back. There are three pocket options, and waist ties are optional.
Poplin, lawn, and linen are the best materials to use for this pattern because they are lightweight woven fabrics. The pattern is best suited for intermediate sewers, but there are options for eager beginners hoping to pick up new techniques.
The Child Kinjarling Dress is available in sizes Age 2 through 12. Additionally, an adult pattern that fits sizes XXS to 7XL is available.
Recommended Fabric: : Light/medium woven fabrics are required. Fabrics with a good balance of structure and drape are ideal. Examples include cotton poplin, cotton lawn and linen. Fabrics with more drape such as rayon and some silks are beautiful but the end fit will be a little more relaxed. Stiffer/thicker fabrics result in a more structured dress which can look fabulous. Soft fabrics such as double gauze or muslin will create a very relaxed, comfortable, casual dress.
Pattern Format: This is a PDF pattern. Included in your download is an A4 file for at home printing, an A0 File for Copy Shop Printing, Projector files and detailed instruction files.
